Global opportunities, with a "local feel" What initially attracted me to A. T. Kearney was the long history and global presence of the firm, and I was excited about the opportunities this could bring. What caught me by surprise the first day was the local feel and atmosphere of the Nordic offices. I feel blessed to be a part of a close-knit group, yet still able to leverage a global network of colleagues and clients. A year later, this is what keeps me attracted to A. T. Kearney.
Close collaboration - with colleagues and clients At A. T. Kearney, we believe that learning from colleagues is the best way. I experienced this first hand, as my first weeks on a project provided me with knowledge, skills and practical tips I couldn't dream of acquiring through any course. Luckily, a year later, I still learn from my colleagues and clients every day. We often spend our days at the client's site, working together and eating lunch together- we view our clients as extended colleagues. Not only does this provide us with a pleasant working environment, but it creates better results, and it is a great way to make valuable contacts and start building your network.
Involvement from day one As a new consultant, you are immediately a part of the team - your perspectives and opinions are highly valued, and moreover, the team is counting on your insights and contribution. This is also the case for all office matters - with a flat hierarchy and open doors, you are always involved in everything that happens in the office; pitching new proposals, planning social events or recruiting new colleagues. In a close-knit environment like ours, you quickly become an integral part of the Nordic team.
